Special tiles – Omit Bamboo tiles

Some rules omit one of the suit tiles (normally Bamboos) in order to make the game more simple and fast. Four Winds allows you to omit the Bamboo suit. If the option is used, the patterns that assume presences of three suits are automatically disabled.

To omit the Bamboo suit from the game:

1. Choose Preferences on the File menu.
2. From the Rule Presets list, choose a customized rule preset.
3. Choose General under the Rules section of the category tree.
4. Click Other button to show the Other Special Tiles dialog box.
5. Check the Omit Bamboo tiles box.
