Scores dialog box
Current Game view (Total Points)
You can access the Scores dialog box by choosing Scores on the View
menu. If there is no game in progress, or the current deal is the first in the
game, the dialog box opens with the Top 50 Hands view activated (otherwise the default view is
the Current Game view).
The title bar shows the hand number, wind of the round, number of hand in the
round,
and the number of re-deal (if applicable).
The dialog box can be rolled-up and down by double clicking the title bar (or by
pressing the DEL key). The other controls are as follows:
- Total Points. Displays the Total Points for all players and the pay table (if
applicable). The Winner of the deal is marked with a green bullet; the discarder, if any,
is marked with a red bullet. If you have won the deal and the total score is
within Top 50 Hands (when playing with current rules), a triangle is placed
on top of your name. If the current deal is the last in an ongoing game and
your total score is within Top 50 Games (when playing with current rules), a
crown is placed on top of your name.
- Jack, Helen, Tim, Player. Displays the details of the hand of the selected player
(the tile combinations in the hand and points they earn), including a graphical
presentation of the hand. In a winning hand the winning tile is highlighted.
When the player button is active, the caption of the button changes to read To
favorite. Click the button to add the currently displayed hand to favorites. To
see the favorites, first click the Hall of Fame button, then the Favorites
button at the top of the dialog box.
- Browse Buttons. The browse buttons enable browsing of the points of other hands
played during the game. You can also use HOME, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN and END keys to navigate
through the hands. You can browse through the details of the winning hands by holding down
the SHIFT key while clicking on the buttons (or using the keyboard
shortcuts).
- Print. Displays the Print dialog box, where you
can setup your printer and define several print options.
- Hall of Fame. Displays Top 50 hands and games and
favorites. For more
information, click the related links below.
- Close/Resume. Closes the dialog box. The caption changes according
to the situation. If the dialog box was activated by Four
Winds (at the end of the hand), and the game is not finished, the caption
text is "Resume", and the next deal is started immediately after
the dialog box is closed.
You can use additional options by clicking the arrow button beside
the closing button:
Replay. Allows you to replay the hand displayed in the Current
game view. The option is available only if you have checked the Replay
option on the Gameplay option page
of the Preferences dialog box and at least one deal has been played.
Note however that the feature cannot be used with tournament games.
Notice
that you lose all hands following a replayed hand (i.e., you cannot replay just a single
hand and have the points adjusted according to the results of the replayed
deal).
Quit. Lets you quit (and save) the current game without starting the
next deal. The option is available only at the end of the hand (unless the
whole game or tournament is completed). You can access the command also by
pressing and holding down the CTRL key and pressing Q.
Tip: To see the discarded tiles, press D. To re-display the hands, press D
again. (Applicable only when using a game board with separate views.)
