Support
The registered users can have technical support by sending e-mail to support@4windsmj.com.
When you contact technical support, please note the following:
- If you report a technical problem, please mention your operating system
(Windows 95/98/Me/NT 4.0/2000/XP), display driver and sound device. The great
majority of problems are related to badly configured or corrupt display and
sound drivers so you save time by sending us the related information already
on your first contact.
- If you report an error in the actual game (e.g., a scoring error, or an
error in recognizing a certain pattern or hand, or problems with customized
rules), please save your game and send it us as an e-mail attachment. You
should do this especially if you use customized rules, since we need to know
all rule details in order to be able to examine the error.
- If you report a multiplayer error, please state the rules you were using,
the number of human players participating, and whether the problem appeared
on a hosting player's computer or on a joining player's computer. Note that
the host can save a multiplayer game, so if there is a saved game available
(saved near the situation that caused the error), please send it as an
attachment. Also, please check the versions of DirectX used on the
participating computers. If you report a problem related to inability to
make the connection, please check first that all players have tried to
connect in a way described in the Starting a
multiplayer wizard and that the cause for the problem is not in one or
more of the participating players using a
firewall.
