Normally no points are paid if the deal ends in a draw. In some rules, however (notably French) the players points are calculated also after a draw, and normal payments are applied.
You can also specify that when the deal ends in a draw, the points are paid only to players with a ready hand (the declaration of Ready is not required). E.g., in the modern Japanese rules only players with a ready hand receive payments, but not according to the value of their hands; instead, the payment is fixed and determined by the number of players with a ready hand.
You can specify the rules for payment after a draw on the Winning & Draw page (under the Rules section in the category tree of the Preferences dialog box). For details, see Draw rules Paying points after a draw.
