Creating and managing custom rule presets

Modifying a user-defined preset

You can make direct changes to a saved, user-defined rule preset.

To modify a user-defined preset:
  1. Quit an on-going game, if applicable.
  2. Choose Preferences on the File menu.
  3. Select the user-defined preset you wish to edit from the Rule Presets drop-down list box. You can make direct changes only to user-defined presets.
  4. Make changes to individual options.
  5. Click on the arrow on the left of the Rule Presets drop-down list box. Choose Save from the pop-up menu.

Note: If you have made changes to an existing user-defined preset and close the Preferences dialog box by selecting OK without saving first the changes to the preset, Four Winds warns you about this situation and lets you save the changes. If you choose not to save the changes, Four Winds activates the "Customized" rule preset and applies the changes to it.
