Hiding competition

Normally Four Winds displays competitive claims on the message line at the bottom of the screen. E.g., if you claim a tile for a Pung and one of your opponents claims the same tile for a Chow, Four Winds displays the other player's claim on the message line, when you make your declaration (for multi-player games, player's claim is displayed also in a small pop-up window as soon as the player has specified the claim).

You can disable the feature if you want to hide information on competitive claims.

To enable or disable information on competitive claims:

  1. Choose Preferences on the File menu.
  2. Choose Gameplay under the User Interface section in the category tree of the Preferences dialog box.
  3. Check or clear the Hide competition box.
