Scoring variations

Payments to winner – Chinese Classical scheme

This payoff scheme is normally used in all Western versions of Mah Jong. When enabled, each loser pays equally to the winner, disregarding the way of going out, but the dealer (East) always receives and pays (just for himself) double.

To enable the payment option:
  1. Choose Preferences on the File menu.
  2. Choose a customized rule preset from the Rule presets list.
  3. Choose Payments under the Scoring section in the category tree of the Preferences dialog box.
  4. From the Payments to Winner list, select Chinese Classical.
