Scoring variations

Payments to winner – Wilmington Advanced 12-Tile scheme

This payment scheme is used in Wilmington Advanced 12-Tile rules. If the winning tile is self-drawn, each loser pays according to the winner's final score. If the winning tile is a discard, final score is multiplied by 1.5 and discarder alone pays the total score (other losers pay nothing).

The payoff scheme resembles Chinese/Taiwanese official scheme, but discarder is penalized mildly.

  East Discarder Others Total
East self-drawn 1 3
Non-East self-drawn 1 1 3
East on discard 1.50 0 1.50
Non-East on East's discard 1.50 0 1.50
Non-East on Non-East's discard 0 1.50 0 1.50
