Four Winds supports two ways of showing the game information. The integrated game boards show all information simultaneously and are supported starting from screen resolutions 1024x768 (traditional 3:4 display) or 1280x800/720 pixels (wide screen 16:10 and 16:9) and ending to game boards to be used on a Full HD TV monitor supporting 1920x1080 pixels or computer monitors supporting screen size of 1920 x 1200 pixels or more. The 3:2 ratio Surface Pro 3, 4 and Surface Book displays are now supported, as well. Starting from version 2.15, ultra-high resolution dsiplays are supported by allowing app-scaling on Windows 8 and 10 operating systems. All integrated boards support both row-based and square layouts.

Four Winds also supports four non-integrated boards at sizes 640x480, 800x600, 1280x800/720 and 1440x900 pixels which allow the maximum tile size by showing additional game information in separate windows (Wall window, Game Manager, Available Tiles window, Discards window and the Players window) that can be opened from the View menu. Four Winds remembers the window positions and sizes between the sessions so when you next time play you do not need to re-open and re-position the windows.
You can change the game board from the View menu whenever it is your turn.
