Four Winds is by far the most customizable Mah Jong in the world. In addition to supporting over 20 pre-defined rule presets, you can create and save any number of customized rules. To use an existing rule preset as a template, first choose that preset from the Rule presets list, then choose "Customized". Here the Hong Kong rule preset is used as a template and a value of  2 faans is specified as the minimum for the winning hand. By clicking the Exceptions button you could specify e.g., whether the points for Flowers and Seasons should be ignored when determining if the hands meets the minimum point requirement. To save the customized rules as a user-defined rule preset, click the arrow button on the left of the Rule presets list and choose Save As New Rule Preset.
