This payoff scheme is used in Mahjong Masters Million rules. If East is winner, his final score is multiplied by 1.5, and for self-drawn winning tile, each loser pays 1/3 of the sum, for discarded winning tile, discarder alone pays winner's total score. If non-East wins self-drawn, East pays half and others 1/4 of the winner's final score; if non- East wins on discard, discarder alone pays winner's final score (which is not multiplied for East discarder).
The payoff scheme is a sort of a combination of Chinese Modern and Japanese schemes. It resembles Internet Mahjong Server scheme, but does not accentuate meaning of going out self-drawn.
East | Discarder | Others | Total | |
---|---|---|---|---|
East self-drawn | – | – | 0.50 | 1.50 |
Non-East self-drawn | 0.50 | – | 0.25 | 1 |
