 Downloads – Themes & Tile Sets
If you downloaded either of the complete setup packages, there is no
need to download themes or tile sets separately as the setup package comes
with either 24-bit or 256-color versions of all available themes and
tiles. But if you downloaded only the basic setup package, which does not
include any alternative themes or tile sets, you can download them separately from this page.
Note that the additional themes and tile sets are available both in
256-color mode or 24-bit color mode.
Note: 256-color versions work in a 256-color screen mode or better.
The 24-bit color themes require at least the 16-bit (High Color) color
mode. Do the following to check if your system supports the required high color modes
(only applies to older systems running Windows XP; if you have Windows
Vista or Windows 7, you most probably have a system that supports at least
24-bit color):
- Right click your Windows desktop and choose Properties from
the context menu.
- Activate the Settings tab and see if you can choose
"High Color (16 bit)" or better from the Colors list.
If your system does not support high color modes (16 bit or better),
please download 256-color versions. Note too that 24-bit color versions
are much larger than 256-color versions, and the difference in quality is
often quite small, so if you want to save disk space or if you have a low
connection speed, you might want to download 256-color versions instead of
24-bit color versions.
NOTE: The
themes are available only to registered users. All theme downloads
require now a user name and password that are given at the time you
register the program (they are e-mailed to your after the purchase). If
you have registered the program and do not have this password (or if your
password has expired), please contact technical
support.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that
your ISP or spam mail filter does not block e-mail from lagarto.fi or
kolumbus.fi addresses since
support e-mail normally proceeds from these domain names (and not
necessarily from 4windsmj.com). If you do not receive e-mail you
have been asking, please check your e-mail settings (and more
specifically, if our mail is in your spam mail box).
A. Complete Theme Packages

Note: The package contains also an enhanced version of the Four
Winds default theme.
B. Additional tile sets
 The
default tiles sets designed for each theme can be overridden with
alternative tile sets. The alternative tile set package
includes e.g. three "large-tile" versions tile of the Four
Winds, Four Winds Classic and Bauhaus themes, as well as
a traditional tile set for each theme that uses a non-traditional tile set
(Astronomy,
Bauhaus, Egypt, Navigare, Origami and Prehistoric).
In addition, the package includes several general purpose traditional tile
sets – some scanned, some manually drawn – to be used with e.g.
user-defined themes.

with either 24-bit or 256-color versions of all available tile sets. But if you downloaded only the basic setup package, you can download
additional tile sets below.
